How can Digital Diner help me?

Simply put, we can save you the time and headache of converting your design from layout to valid XHTML/CSS code. Plus, if you'd like, we can then implement that code in the CMS (Content Management System) of your choice. We take the time to document the code, which allows for easy editing and modification in the future.

Will my website look good in all the major browsers?

Yes. We take the time to test our code in all major web browsers to ensure true cross-browser compatibility.

Will Digital Diner help me with a design?

Right now, design is not a service we provide. We are focusing our efforts on delivering the highest quality markup services, based on designs you (our customers) provide. At some point in the future, we might offer design services, but they are not part of our immediate plans.

Does Digital Diner develop Flash animations?

No, we don't offer flash animation development services. However, we will implement flash elements that you provide as part of your website's design. If your website has a flash element, please upload that element with the other design drafts and provide us with very specific information about where these flash elements are to be placed.

Does Digital Diner offer Javascript coding? What about DHTML, PHP, and AJAX?

All of these can be incorporated into your site for an additional fee. Please let us know what you have in mind when you submit your design.

Does Digital Diner offer coding for HTML emails (E-newsletters)?

Yes, we do! The HTML email templates we use are coded to display correctly in all of the most popular email clients, including Entourage, Microsoft Outlook, Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail. However, the latest version of Outlook (Outlook 2007) does not support many of the style elements supported by previous versions of Outlook. This may mean certain design elements, such as background images, cannot be used in this version.

Can Digital Diner help me integrate my markup in my BLOG/CMS?

Yes. We offer integration services for Wordpress, Blogger, Drupal, Joomla, and Magento. The integration for these applications will be charged separately depending on the application as well as the complexity of the artwork.

How does Digital Diner charge for work?

We charge by the number of pages and unique page layouts needed for the site. Multiple page orders are automatically discounted. If your layout is unusually complex, time-intensive, or requires a special implementation or custom scripting, we will let you know upfront if any additional work (and costs) will be required to deliver your results.

Does Digital Diner offer discounts?

Yes. We discount additional Subpages by 50%. We also offer volume discounts-contact us for a quote.

What file format do you prefer?

Our preference is layered PSD, PNG, or AI files. You can send us your design in high-quality PNG, PSD, AI, JPG, or GIF files. Please be sure to include all custom fonts when necessary, too, so we can create any text-based elements required for your layout, and a PDF of the finished design, so we can see exactly how you want it to appear.

If I need my site re-sliced, what kind of files should I send?

We prefer that you supply us with the site files-html, css, images, script files, etc.-that are used to display your site. It would also be helpful if you could include screenshots of the desired look of the pages you are sending to ensure that the final product looks as it was intended to.
